The smaller trays hold two coffee cups or a dish of dates and suit a side table in the majlis. The larger engraved trays carry a full tea or coffee set. All of them can be used every day: silver does not fear hot cups, it simply needs a soft cloth afterwards.
Why hand engraving matters
On a machine-stamped tray the pattern sits on top of the metal. On an engraved tray it is cut into it, line by line, so the ornament has depth and catches the light differently as you turn it. Niello, a black alloy fused into the lines, makes the pattern readable from across the room.

Can a silver tray be used for hot coffee cups?
Yes. Silver handles heat well. Wipe it after use and wash it by hand, not in the dishwasher.
